Wittenberg Encounter

I just published Wittenberg Encounter on Amazon Kindle and invite you to read it.

Wittenberg Encounter is the first book in a series I am calling Intriguing Love. The second book, Prague Rendezvous, is also available on Amazon. I am currently (April, 2022) writing book 3 (Kazimierz Conception) and hope to finish it this year (2022). Books 4 (German Upheaval), and 5 (Zurich Refuge) are in the planning stage. The price for Wittenberg Encounter is $2.99 on Kindle and is also available as a paperback using Amazon’s On-Demand paperback book service. If you do not have a Kindle, you can still download digital books from Amazon's Kindle Store and read them on a device that you do have. Amazon has Kindle reading applications available for Windows, Mac, iPod Touch, iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7 and BlackBerry. The process for reading Kindle books on all of these devices is similar.

Here is a summary of the first book:
In the midst of the Protestant Reformation, which is breaking up Rome’s ecclesiastical hold on Germany, Heinrich, a twenty-two-year-old former student of Wittenberg University, is on a covert mission to gather materials for Martin Luther. Secrecy is needed because the Catholic Church has issued an edict for the arrest of the rebellious reformer, who was kidnapped by supporters and taken to Wartburg castle for safekeeping. Later, Heinrich meets a beautiful and intriguing Jewish woman, named Rebekah, who is looking for Heinrich. She brings fascinating information about Heinrich’s father, who died two years earlier. His mother and sister get involved in learning about the life of Rebekah and the network their fathers were involved with, which opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

In the process of discovering how their fathers were connected in the underground network of Messianic believers, Heinrich falls in love with Rebekah. They only have a few days together before Heinrich must take her to a safe place where Rebekah can return to her home in Krakow, Poland. Their emotional good bye is a prelude to the future where Heinrich and Rebekah are pledged to see each other again. My second book, Prague Rendezvous, continues their daring adventures as they keep that promise.

I hope you will all get it and will leave a review on Amazon Kindle.
