Review of The Oracle - the Jubilean Mysteries Unveiled

Jonathan Cahn has gotten more mileage from the word “Mystery” than Agatha Christie ever did. As an avid reader of his books, I just finished his latest: The Oracle - The Jubilean Mysteries Unveiled. Just as his last book, The Paradigm, revealed that the Biblical God has encapsulated the history of Israel’s leaders during the time of Ahab, Jezebel, and Jehu, into the last 40 years of America’s political history, the Oracle shows that the Jubilean dates have exactly matched the history of Israel’s return to the land. The main idea behind the Jubilee is that every 50 years, God’s people are to return to their original possession. Debts are cancelled and all those in bondage are set free (Leviticus 25). It also has a sense of reversing the order of things. While God’s Biblical calendar has kept marching along, the tempo picked up starting with 1867. You’ll have to read the book to understand why. And it’s not just the big dates, it also includes little details that will blow your mind. If, after reading the book, you don’t come away with a belief that the Biblical God is real and sovereign over history, then you better check your pulse. Here is a quote from one of the main characters on page 271:

“There’s no way that all these things could have happened apart from the reality of God. The prophecies alone … to foretell human events from ancient times and against all odds of their coming true, and yet thousands of years later they come true. Even in the modern world, with all our technology, we still can’t foretell such things. And yet thousands of years ago it was all foretold by shepherds and farmers, simple folk with nothing, and it all came true… that fact alone. And all the other dimensions of the mystery, all the details, all the precise quirks and twists and turns… all happening at the exact appointed times and places by an unseen hand over the course of millenia… No one but God could have done it, and nothing but His reality can explain it.”
“What else does it reveal?” asked the Oracle.
“That nothing is an accident… If the veil wasn’t removed, you could miss it… Nothing is an accident, the world, history… life… it’s not random. It has a purpose, even when you can’t see it. It means something. It has meaning and purpose.”

The liberal left is befuddled why Trump is president and why it is that evangelical Christians are behind him. I believe it is largely because the left has no understanding that there are (at least) two things that the Biblical God really cares about. And they are 1) the protection of life (i.e., abortion) and 2) His promises to Israel. Israel is God’s time-piece and all of human history revolves around that little country and the city of Jerusalem. It is where he secured our redemption, went back to heaven in His ascension, and where He will return to when his sandals touch the Mount of Olives. Trump is referred to in both the Paradigm and the Oracle and I think it would be really awesome if he read the book and pointed out in a press conference where he and Hillary fit into the story. But, Yeshua is the rightful King and I’ll leave it up to Him. I encourage you to go and read the book.
